It's a...GIRL

80% of you that took the quiz were right!!!

It is a sweet ,sassy, pink girl!  WE  can't wait!   The ultrasound was LONG, it was like waiting for Ryan Seacrest to announce the winner of American Idol in there!   Finally after we made sure the baby was good and healthy she said drumroll please........its a GIRL!   There was no mystery at all!  I have to say she was quite a lady with her legs crossed keeping us from getting a good shot.

Dave (Dad) has immediately fallen into the protector role.  Last night he said to me, I think every man hopes for a boy, but when she said GIRL I immediately flashed 20 something years into the future, walking her down the aisle.  He said I feel so protective of her already.  My heart melted, and I know how lucky this baby will be to have such a great daddy.

I am proud to say I haven't been shopping yet, but heck the weekend is just a few days away! We will be well on our way to a girly nursery in no time!

She looked great in the ultra sound weighing 10 ounces and right on target for all her measurements for this stage in the game.   Me on the other hand, I have a LOW placenta (translation=risk of placenta being born before baby). So we will do another ultrasound at 36 weeks to make sure it has risen a bit, if not we will schedule a C-Section.  Doctor said this is common and in most cases the placenta will rise naturally!

Check out the updated ultrasound pictures, and stay tuned next week we might even have a name?!?!?
