I think I love this week the most, why? Read below...
Turn on the radio and sway to the music. With her sense of movement well developed by now, your baby can feel you dance. And now that she's more than 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound (about as much as a large mango), you may be able to see her squirm underneath your clothes. Blood vessels in her lungs are developing to prepare for breathing, and the sounds that your baby's increasingly keen ears pick up are preparing her for entry into the outside world. Loud noises that become familiar now — such as your dog barking or the roar of the vacuum cleaner — probably won't faze her when she hears them outside the womb.
I think that is so sweet. Makes me wanna break dance right here in this nurses station (I'll refrain). Lula-belle as we call her (not a name choice, just a nickname), has been really squirmy, she is moving ALL the time now. The best is when I eat dinner and lay down, she goes on a 15-20 min dancing streak.
I have been on the road a few weeks now, so it is really sweet that every time I am on the phone with Dave I feel her move. I put the phone on speaker and I think she gets excited to hear his voice, or maybe I am just crazy?! (Probably a mixture of the two)! This is my LAST week on the road for the year (thank you LORD), and I pray I only have a few weeks at the beginning of the year. This travel has really gotten old!
We have our 6 month check up on Monday morning so I will update you next week.
