1 month count down!

In just one short month Loralei will be turning 2, can you believe it? I sure can't. It blows my mind to even think about.  I find myself holding her extra tight, breathing in her sweet smell, and trying to hold on to the last of my "baby" She amazes me every day and I am lucky that she is ours. Single Tear :(   Too that we have started to plan the big '2' party and I can't wait to share it with you.  Mark your calendars for April 6th at 3pm!!!

Friends are so much fun. LL is learning that early. She has quite the little "crush" on schoolmate Jack. They have had a couple "out of school" dates, and are really cute together.

Good Habits

Loralei has been diligent in her good habits lately. You know asking for green vegetables, and to go to bed early stuff like that. Who am I kidding? Lol. She is good about asking to brush her teeth, but vegetables and early bedtimes are no where near. She is a hoot and a handful.

Random Cuteness fix

The last two days have been a little weather crazy, but I captured some cute moments. As I type I hear heavy wind whipping around the house. Last night we had some scary storms and spent a little time in our "safe place". The best part was trying to get a toddler back to sleep at 3:30am when they're ready to start the day. Rylan came over for a bit today. He is a brave fella. He followed LLs every move. They are going to be thick as thrives.

Lastly, I'm late to the toddler party on a few things. I'm still dragging around GIANT diaper bag, WHY?  So we graduated to a back pack. I snagged LL a pottery barn kids mini back pack on clearance. She loves it and modeled it for me when it came in.  She asked for it first thing Thursday morning, and it was a bit of a fight to get it off of her to get in her in the car. LOL

Circus Time

We took our 1st trip to the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus.  We had a fabulous time, and I think LL is still coming down from the sensory overload.  We saw every animal imaginable BIG and small. She had so much fun! So did mom and dad ;)

LL came down with a bug not sure what it was. We know it wasn't step or the flu they checked her for that. She was super cuddly though and I that took full advantage of. I miss those days when she volunteered to snuggle her mama. :(
