Baby Update:
We had a little drama with baby girl a week ago. As I have mentioned before I have a low lying placenta (Placenta Previa). Last Wednesday at work I started to have bleeding, and cramping while in the office. Although not the wisest decision ever, I drove myself to the ER where I was showing signs of Pre-Term Labor (PTL). My contractions were very strong, and coming every 5 minutes or less. They quickly started me on terbutaline to stop those contractions. 3 injections later they had slowed way down, and my bleeding had stopped. My doctor thought it would be best if I spent the night in observation just to be safe. They transported me via ambulance (ugh), to Baptist where my OB has privileges, and she could keep a close eye on me, and baby. Once I arrived at Baptist, they decided to start me on corticosteroids just in case baby decided to come early (this is for lung development). This bought me a two night stay in the hospital (boo). By Friday I was feeling good, and the baby was doing great so they sent me home on modified bed rest to take it easy until baby arrives. Thank you to EVERYONE who has offered to bring meals, who have brought meals, washed clothes, taken care of Loralei, etc. You have been a huge blessing and help to us. It is hard to take it easy during such a busy time of the year. :)
