Boom Boom Pow

We had a great 4th of July, a very low key celebration.  It was the first time in years we were in town, and had NO plans.  We started the holiday off at the annual "turning of the Pig" celebration in Greenbrier.  It is held the 3rd of every July.  This is a mini carnival for kids, and a pig roast to raise money for the Band Boosters. My parents and I spent many years slinging pig meat for the boosters :)  After we left there we met up with Daniel, Mandi, and Rylan and watched the fireworks in Hendersonville. They put on a great show at the park. Loralei loved it.

For the 4th Dave and I decided the only logical way to spend a 100+ degree day was pool side.  Lucky for us my cousin and his wife have a great pool in their back yard so we hung out there most of the day.  Loralei of course loved swimming and playing.  She stayed in the pool from 11-3.  She only came out to eat a sandwich.  The kid is a water bug.
