Well, it was bound to happen. Loralei caught her 1st case of hand foot and mouth* in her new classroom last week. She was restless all night and woke up around 5am Sunday morning burning up. After a dose of Tylenol she went back to sleep and woke up fever and sickness free. By 8am she was playing, and having a good time as usual. (riiiiiiight) This 'know it all' mom thought, "eh, its just her K9 teeth, making their debut." (WRONG) by 1:30pm her fever was back, she was screaming, and throwing up in the middle of Red Lobster as we celebrated Father's Day. Happy Father's Day dad :) After a rough afternoon of me not able to leave her side she woke up Monday a new kid. Fever, and sickness free. Man, kids are resilient.
The life cycle of a virus.

*Hand food and mouth is a speculation. She never had a blister, but 2 other classmates of hers had the virus. So that is what this Dr. Mom thinks ;)
