American Girl!

Loralei got a trip to the American Girl store for her birthday from her BeBe and Pop.  She got to take her American Girl bitty baby, a friend, and their American Girl doll to the American Girl bistro for shopping, lunch, and a birthday celebration.  She had the best time with Channing, "Baby Cora", Sparkle Girl, Mommy, and Bebe.  She even decided this is where she wanted to spend her birthday money.  She got a diaper bag, bottles, baby food, a blanket, and more for her bitty baby.

This was such a fun, sweet way to wrap up our birthday celebration. :)

Loralei is 5!!!!

I blinked, and she is 5.  5!  It seems like such a milestone.  My baby, the girl that made me a mama, is 5!  I still can't comprehend how it all went by so fast.  Lord willing this is the 5th in a 105 birthday's she will have, but this one.  The one leading up to Kindergarten has had this mama torn up. Loralei, mama loves you to the moon and back, and I am so blessed to watch you grow.  May God continue to keep you, and bless you.  MWAH!

Ok, enough of the tears.  This diva, requested a  "Pink and Gold, girls, Ballerina, bowling party"  How is that for specific? So her wish was our command.

Spring break 2016!

For spring break this year we did part stay-cation, part family visit, part explorer.  We started off our break at the zoo per a certain 4yr olds request.  Our zoo is under heavy construction so we didn't get to see a few of our favorites, but we did get to see the highlights.
'Mingos
isn't that a cute monkey? ;)
For the second stop on our spring break we drove to South Carolina to meet the teeny DeForest Elijah.  He was so tiny, I wouldn't let the girls look at him, or get to close. LOL
Meeting Uncle Dave for the first time :)
For our last stop we met daddy's military buddy Matt and his family in Asheville.  We spent a couple nights at an air bnb house, and did lots, and lots of walking and exploring in Asheville. This was our first time here, but we loved it and can't wait to go back. :)

Baby 'E'

A couple weeks ago, we loaded up and headed to KY for our newest DeForest cousins baby shower.  Aunt Brittany and Uncle Michael are expecting a baby in a few weeks, and we couldn't wait to celebrate with them.  The gender is a surprise to us all, so we can't wait to meet he or she.  First we had to make some "butter rolls" and play with toys, and animals at Nana and Pa's house. :)

For those tat know us, know we take St. Patrick's Day very serious around here.  It is Mommy's favorite Holiday.  So we've been wearing Green ALL Week!  :)

Teef

Well, sometimes you get sugar bugs, and those sugar bugs are big and nasty.  In those cases they have to be taken out, and capped with silver teeth.  Loralei had  "minor" dental work that resulted in a baby root canal and 3 silver caps. :(  She took it like a champ and was so brave. Brush your teeth twice a day kids. :)
