For spring break this year we did part stay-cation, part family visit, part explorer. We started off our break at the zoo per a certain 4yr olds request. Our zoo is under heavy construction so we didn't get to see a few of our favorites, but we did get to see the highlights.

For the second stop on our spring break we drove to South Carolina to meet the teeny DeForest Elijah. He was so tiny, I wouldn't let the girls look at him, or get to close. LOL

For our last stop we met daddy's military buddy Matt and his family in Asheville. We spent a couple nights at an air bnb house, and did lots, and lots of walking and exploring in Asheville. This was our first time here, but we loved it and can't wait to go back. :)
