Brace yourself. There are a lot of pictures and happy memories coming your way.
The DeForest family headed to Disney World for
fall break 2018! We have been planning,
talking about, and counting down to this trip it seems like forever! Cora was so excited since this was her first
plane ride, and her first “real” Disney experience. (If you remember, we dabbled in Disney World
last summer, but it was so hot and she was still a bit too young to take it all
in). She was most excited about meeting
Ariel. She is obsessed with Ariel, Eric,
Sebastian, and the whole gang. She
would tell just about anyone (including strangers) she was “GOING TO DISNEY
WORLD” and then name off WHO she was going to see. It was precious and exactly
what the “magic” is all about. Loralei
was equally excited, but more for the thrill ride and shows. She is now old
enough to ride all the roller coasters. She was most excited to get on Slinky Dog
in the new Toy Story world, and see the Hocus Pocus Halloween stage show at
Magic Kingdom. All activities met and
exceeded her expectations. ;)
After we got checked in and settled in, We headed to the Contemporary Resort for Dinner at Chef Mickeys! Cora's face when she saw Donald across the room was priceless! I mean PRICELESS!
We took a pitstop inside the Flordian resort. Let me tell ya. Once day we will stay here. I can't wait come back at Christmas and see the life sized Gingerbread house!
After a big start it was off to dream about princess and princes!
Day 1 we headed to Magic Kingdom. We were
early to the park so we hopped on several things pretty quickly. Including a family favorite Pirates of the
Caribbean.
Mid-day we hopped over to Epcot to Akershus in Norway to have lunch with the Princesses. This was it. Meeting ARIEL Cora was so pumped and let EVERYONE know who she had spotted when we entered the room. When the big moment came, she was starstruck and couldn’t even move. It was cute. She was BIG TIME after meeting the princesses and gobbled up her pizza with her shades on!
We ended the
day back at Magic Kingdom with lots of rides, a power nap, and some very happy (but tired) kiddos.
