Spring Break

This year for Spring Break Loralei and her daddy picked up Pa Jim and headed to Eastern KY to visit the town Pa grew up in. It was bitterly cold, and snowy for a spring break, but the 3 amigos made the most of it.

Pa is from Moorehead, KY but his family has an amazing legacy about an hour away in Hindman, KY. A tiny town tucked away in the Appalachian Mountains. Pa's family The Stone's and Stewart's helped settle the Hindman Settlement School in 1902. His family is buried there and left a wonderful foundation for education in that town.
