We packed our wagons and headed East to Surfside Beach, SC for our family vacation with the DeForest family. We had a FULL week of (mostly) sunny beach fun. The car ride wasn't too painful, and we passed time with movies, snacks, and naps. My girls could not have had a bigger yin and yang difference over the water. Loralei hit the water as soon as we got there, and never came out. Cora wanted NOTHING to do with it. She did however LOVE the sand. I mean, loved it. How it felt, tasted (eww), and what she could do with it. She warmed up to the ocean as the week went on, but never really loved the pool. Maybe next time?
