I have sad news to report. Our sweet puppy Riggs has gone to Heaven. He left us a couple weeks ago during bad snow. This was Loralei's first experience with loss so we tried to handle it as carefully as possible. Although the concept is still a bit too big for her, she knows he is in Heaven with Jesus and he is ok. The reality of the situation may hit a little harder on our next trip to Nana and Pa's. Until then, this picture is by her bed, and she likes to talk to "her Riggs."
