a quick Gatlinburg Trip

We took a quick trip to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge this weekend to visit with all the DeForest family.  It is about a 3.5-4 hour drive for all of us, and a great way to hang out, kick back, and enjoy each others company.  While we were there we took a trip to the Ripley's Aquarium and did a lot of shopping, it was tax free weekend after all. :) We were also blessed to witness  Lee "Uncle Wee" purpose to Bianca "Anca". Bianca was totally surprised, and we are so excited to welcome her to the family.  Here's to a celebration in south beach in December! :)

Helping Nanna make "butter rolls"

Loralei loved helping make butter rolls and get her hands "dirty" baking. She kept grinning and shouting "I did it, I did it" I guess this mamma is going to have to have to step up her baking game. LOL
