So much to be Thankful for!

We have a great Thanksgiving in Albany with our DeForest family and Granny Staton. Cora got to help make butter rolls and lots of memories were made.

Veterans Day

We are so proud of Daddy. He has been a soldier for 19 years.  This year we skipped school and went downtown Nashville to watch daddy march his students in the Nashville Veteran's Day parade.

A few days after that daddy had surgery to fix a bum ankle. He did great. He had the best wee nurse.

A few pictures from White Christmas at SkyPAC and Cora with NASH at preds night.

Halloween 2019

Halloween is one of our favorite family holidays. I  mean this crew dresses up 11 months out of the year, but this is the one time of the year people don't stare. :)

50 Day of School for Cora Bug!

When baby needs a ride, baby gets a ride.
To celebrate the 50th day of school Cora's school hosted a 50s themed party, complete with box cars and a doowop! We had a blast making the car, even it it took FOREVER and a lot of purple spray paint! :)

I'd say she is proud of her little car!

Happy 10 year Anniversary Dave!

This year we have been married 10 years. It really has gone by FAST (some days/years faster than others).  Kids if you're reading this 20, 30, 50 years from now know that your daddy and I love each other more than the day we married. We have grown as a couple and as individuals as we have grown into our roles as mom and dad. Marriage is HARD. SUPER HARD. It is work, it is a commitment, and it is the most rewarding thing I have done to date. Happy Anniversary babe!

We snuck away to Chicago for our Anniversary. We saw a Cubs game, had dinner with one of daddy's old Army buddies and just had a great time. It was a great trip, but we did miss our girls. :)

Like a kid in a Candy Store

We took a road trip with Nana, Rachel, Harper, and some others to Louisville to see JoJo Siwa in concert. Who is JoJo? Think Hannah Montana for my kids. She put on a good show, the girls loved getting dressed up and singing at the TOP of their longs all the JoJo songs.   The best part though was we got to see our good friend Harper who moved to Louisville over the summer. She went to the show with us and had such a FUN time. <3 p="">
