Foothills and 1st Birthday for Hudson

This past weekend we headed to KY to celebrate the annual Foothills Festival. The girls had fun catching candy in the parade and waving at all the passersby.    We ended the weekend celebrating Hudson’s first birthday.  The first year of Hudson has flown by.  He is just the most handsome and happy baby all the time.  Happy Birthday Huddy!

We snuck by Granny Staton's house to say hello. She had fresh Apple Pie!  Lulu was NOT disappointed :)

God, Country, and Notre Dame!

Mom and dad took a quick weekend trip to catch the Notre Dame vs Vanderbilt game.  The girls got to spend the weekend with Nana in KY while we were away.  The whole experience was surreal for this life long Irish fan.  We saw all the sights, met some new friends, and really enjoyed our good friends the Burgbachers

We finally passed down our favorite ND cheerleading outfit to baby Lorelei. She looked just as cute as Cora bug and Lulu did in it. 

Grandparents!

Loralei celebrated Grandparents day at school!  She got to show her grandparents her classroom, meet her teacher and capture a few pictures. We are so blessed to have such wonderful grandparents who love on my babies. 

Labor-less day trip!

Well, we felt we needed one  more trip to the beach in 2018 since we had a tropical run in the last time.  We stole Bebe away and headed down to Gulf Shores for a Labor Day trip.   We had a great girls trip, and daddy even came down and joined us at the end of our time together.  The next beach trips can’t come too soon.  Next time were stealing Daniel and his family away with us.  

Back to School

It's officially back to school time. We have a 2nd grader and a pre-k student.  I am feeling good about this school year and Loralei has a precious teacher to guide her sweet heart though the year.

It is also back to dance for Loralei and the START of dance for Cora. She is so excited. She has been waiting all summer for this. 

The girls hit the ground with theme days and horse lessons right after school started back. It is going to be a busy, but fun year.
