Making memories for Memorial Day!

Memorial Day weekend we hit the road to Destin, Florida to spend some much needed time with the DeForest family.   There was a tropical storm when we arrived so we had to spend a few days inside doing puzzles, and hitting the pool between rain storms.  We were able to salvage a great vacation and daddy even got to come down and spend the week with us.  The girls and I were thrilled!

Summer bummer

Spring ended on a high note, but summer started on a low note.  Daddy will be leaving us for the summer to do some work in Ft. Benning, Georgia.  We are going to miss him, but we are also excited we may get to see him a couple of times over the summer.

Spring Wrap Up

We ended the 2017-2018 on a high note.  Both girls did well in their classes and we got to enjoy the fun end of year traditions like field day, and show and tell. 2017-2018 was a great year with some great teachers. I was sad to see it go.

Muffins with mom!

They would kill me for this, but these two are hands down the BEST BEST BEST teacher ever. Mrs Tonya and Mrs Sandy thank you for loving on my Cora.

Big man Rylan Kent graduated kindergarten with flying colors. I am so proud of this little dude and I can't wait to see what the years to come hold for him.

We also celebrated a big milestone. Our first sleepover!  We had God twin's Ava and Liam over for a sleepover and had the best time. We hit the park, watched movies, played video games, and make a hearty breakfast before they left.  We can't wait to do it again.

Liam and Ava also celebrated their fist communion this spring. It was a great day celebrating two of our favorite people and their commitment to God.

Dance, Dance, Dance

Dance recital 2018 is in the books. Lulu did a great job in both her tap and ballet numbers.  We even ran into our old neighbor Lucy.  That made Loralei’s day.  I am so proud of this kiddo.  She had a terrible bout of stage fright, but overcame it and knocked both dances out of the park.
